Dealing with Extreme Temperatures - BSO-01 Fill Fluid up to -110°C

The selection of a fill fluid for a Diaphragm Seal System requires a careful review of the application ambient and process conditions. Next to diaphragm size, capillary length and material, also the fill fluid characteristics have an impact on the total diaphragm seal system performance in terms of response time and temperature effect.

The BSO-01 is an inert fill fluid and has a reported freezing point of -125°C. The (operational) process temperature limit is set at a higher temperature to allow the Diaphragm Seal System to function properly.

In short, the BSO-01 can be used
• Typically for low temperature applications
• In silicon free environments
• For chlorine and oxygen applications
• As primary fill for Temperature Compensator.
