FSO-EXT in Duplex F51 with Vegabar83 - Decarbonisation

For the fastest-growing carbon dioxide (CO₂) utilization company in Europe, who recently expanded to The Netherlands, Badotherm and Vega NL are supplying a very specific series of diaphragm seal systems. With a quick turnaround this customer is able to ramp up their new facility within their tight timelines.

Amongst others, this diaphragm seal system consists of a nice configuration as on the pictures shown: A VEGABAR83 pressure transmitter mounted to a Badotherm FSO-EXT in 2″ cl. 1500 RF with wetted parts in full body material with alloy C276 diaphragm. Extension length is 230mm with a diameter of 48mm. The system is filled with BSO-42 high temp filling fluid and holds 5m of capillary. To facilitate easier handling and installation, the heavy flanges are equipped with lifting handles to easier maneuver during mounting that the diaphragm is not scratch or dented whilst entering into the process nozzle.

This customer’s carbon capture and utilization (CCU) storage technology is right at home with other stakeholders in the Dutch sustainability ecosystem. In fact, the biggest Dutch CO2 reduction program – Porthos – is also in Rotterdam. Carbon capture and storage (CCS) of CO2 will make an important contribution to national climate targets.
