Badotherm was founded in 1957 in Dordrecht as a production company manufacturing pressure gauges and thermometers. The company name was derived from the name BAstiaan DOrdrecht THERMometers. In 1977 further expansion was required and the construction of new premises in Kelvinstraat in Dordrecht was completed, this remains the home base for our Dutch family business.

State-owned companies had high levels of technical ability but ran into difficulties after the Revolution. It was at this point that, a factory initially built to manufacture instruments for the machine industry first made contact with Badotherm Holland.

Badotherm first made contact with the Anand family from New Delhi in 1998. This family, the owner of a level instrumentation manufacturing plant, was interested in expanding to supply Badotherm’s full product range in India. Through strong and careful collaboration the partners succeeded in establishing a production unit for the Indian market. Following Indian government approval, the official inauguration of Badotherm India took place in 1999.

Badotherm first made contact with the Anand family from New Delhi in 1998. Badotherm Far East is the result of a long relationship relationship between the Bastiaan family and Akhil Kala, who had been a Badotherm distributor for more than 15 years. From 2004 this close partnership will reached a new level of cooperation with the establishment of a regional center in Bangkok, Thailand.

Badotherm Middle East is the second location that was started with the Anand family. In 2005 the regional centre opened in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubai has a central location in the complete Middle East region and serves customers in all the surrounding oil countries.

Saudi Arabia is the most recent location of the Anand family. The operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an extension of Bliss Americas and will be operated and supervised by Badotherm Middle East. The manufacturing facility is located in Modon Industrial City 3 in Dammam.  Saudi Arabia facility focusses on the local presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an extension of Bliss Americas and will be operated and supervised by Badotherm Middle East.
