Threaded Diaphragm Seals

The US-T construction is designed for those applications where the existing process connection is of a threaded type. The US-T
functions as an adaptor to a large diaphragm seal. The US-T consists of an upper and lower housing. The lower housing creates the transition from the diaphragm size to the actual small process connection.

The USL-T construction is designed for those applications where the existing process connection is of a threaded type. The USL-T
functions as an adaptor to a large diaphragm seal. The USL-T consists of an upper and lower housing. The lower housing creates
the transition from the diaphragm size to the actual small process connection.

The USM-T construction is designed for those applications where the existing process connection is of a threaded type. The USM-T functions as an adaptor to a large diaphragm seal. The USM-T consists of an upper and lower housing. The lower housing creates the transition from the diaphragm size to the actual small process connection.

The ECx is a complete welded construction and designed for those applications where the process conditions are such that direct mounting of the instrument cannot be done. Applications are aggressive media, waste water treatment, or when special wetted parts materials for pressure gauges are required. ECx is typically used in combination with pressure gauges

The PS construction is designed for those applications where the process is very viscous and/or containing parts that might obstruct the process connection of the instrument. Typical applications can be found in pulp & paper industries and waste water treatment. The PS is a single part construction. PS is typically used in combination with pressure transmitters and gauges for pressure measurement.

The WB is the old case shape with wide bezel, also called American Style. This pressure gauge has the same features as the BDT18 pressure gauge available, but is discontinued in 2022.

the instrument needle valve is the standard needle valve mainly used for isolating pressure instruments from the process. The isolation function can be extended with a drain screw to drain the pressure instrument from pressure or pressure medium.

During assembly of threaded parts a thread lubricant is used to prevent thread seizures and make sure the torque values can be applied correctly due to the know friction coefficient. Depending on the application a selection can be made between several types
