Lifting eyes for heavy remote seal systems (>20kg)

A very nice configuration with a Rosemount transmitter 3051TG with a span of 0...248 bar.
Diaphragm design BTS, based on Total Energies design with seal size and rating 2" 900-1500# RJF in 316SS materials, incl. steam tracing, 3 lifting lugs, bolted with 12 A193 B7M bolts and including gasket RTJ R32 AISI 316L

Beautiful construction, however, we would have loved it even more in exotic material such as C276 or alloy400, alloy625 or 825 and then even with 40 micron of gold coating :-).

The main reason for showing this is the lifting eye option that make the installation and handling of this diaphragm seals system a lot more convenient and a lot safer to handle. Typically, we advise the usage of lifting eyes and lifting handles with weights over 15kg per diaphragm seal.

Industrial processes run at ever higher temperatures and pressures and need to comply to more stringent design conditions. EPC require higher pressure classes taken into consideration also the pressure temperature rating at higher temperatures. Therefore, process connections and nozzles are designed with heavier pressure classes. As such, many diaphragm seal systems need to be aligned with the same requirements.

Badotherm specializes in understanding the impact of these high static pressures on the whole diaphragm seal system. And for easier handling and installation, there are several options such as lifting handles or lifting eyes, to handle these heavy units with more ease and especially to make it more safe.
